An Emerging Legal and Political Advocate for Education

My name is Christopher D. Valentino and I will soon be an alumnus of Bowling Green State University’s College Student Personnel master’s program. I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and received a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from San Francisco State University (SF State). I spent my four years at SF State deeply involved in Department of Residence Life and the Student Life Initative as a Senior Resident Assistant. My time at SF State helped me to discover my passion for helping others to succeed.

My time at BGSU has been tremendously rewarding as I have had opportunities to grow professionally and personally through my experiences as a Graduate Hall Director for McDonald Hall and Kohl and Conklin Halls. While at BGSU I have cultivated the knowledge and capacities to help effect positive social change. This website summarizes my personal, professional, and academic development over my two years in the CSP program. Throughout this website I discuss my personal mission, professional knowledge, and my future professional development.

In the fall of 2015 I will be enrolling full time in the University of California, Irvine School of Law to gain the legal experiences I need to be an effective legal advocate for higher education.
